Step into the heart of Rajasthan—where royal legacy, rich culture, and rare horses come together in a journey unlike any other. The Princess and the Marwari is not just a ride—it’s a story lived from the saddle, led by Mallyka of Dundlod, whose roots run deep into the land and its traditions.
The Princess and the Marwari is a rare equestrian journey through Rajasthan’s storied Shekhawati region, where history, heritage, and horsemanship come together in unforgettable harmony. This 6-night, 7-day experience is designed for culturally curious travelers and responsible riders who want to go beyond the surface of India.
Led by Mallyka—born into the noble family of Dundlod Fort and founder of Baisa’s Adventures, you’ll ride the legendary Marwari horses through painted towns, historic forts, and rural landscapes steeped in Rajput legacy. Along the way, stay in character-rich heritage havelis, meet local communities, and learn about the deep cultural importance of these rare horses whose inward-curved ears and desert instincts have made them icons of Rajasthani identity.
More than a horseback safari, this is a personal invitation into a way of life, where every ride reveals a story, every encounter connects you to place, and every moment honors the past while riding boldly into the present.
For travelers wishing to extend their journey, an optional 5-day Golden Triangle extension is available, offering a vibrant contrast to Shekhawati’s calm grandeur. Explore the bustling cities of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, where iconic landmarks, rich history, and colorful culture create a dynamic finale to this exceptional Indian experience.
The Marwari horse is far more than a rare indigenous breed—it’s a living emblem of Rajasthan’s identity. Bred by Rajput clans for war and loyalty, these horses were companions in battle, guardians of forts, and participants in royal traditions. Their signature inward-curving ears and intuitive nature set them apart, not just in form but in spirit.
To ride a Marwari here, in its homeland, is to experience a culture where horses have long been part of everyday life, ceremony, and survival. This isn’t about performance or spectacle—it’s about presence, history, and the relationship between people, land, and horse.
For riders who seek more than just movement, this is a rare opportunity to connect with an enduring legacy—one still respected, preserved, and alive today.
Born into the noble family of Dundlod Fort, Mallyka’s passion for the legendary Marwari horse began as a child watching her father ride through Rajasthan’s royal lands.
Her lifelong bond with these unique horses, known for their inward-curled ears and alert nature, reflects a deep commitment to preserving this rare breed and its heritage.
After a break for motherhood, Mallyka founded Baisa’s Adventures in 2019 to share the thrill of Marwari horse riding and the rich culture of Rajasthan’s Shekhawati region with travelers seeking authentic equestrian experiences.
Among the many unforgettable journeys she curates is Baisa’s Adventure, an immersive ride that celebrates the spirit of Rajasthan through its stunning landscapes, vibrant history, and intimate connection with the Marwari horse tradition.
Saddle up alongside Mallyka, daughter of the noble house of Dundlod, whose life has been shaped by the Marwari horse and the culture of Rajasthan’s equestrian traditions.
