During Tihar, homes, temples and neighborhoods are transformed by oil lamps, marigold garlands, color and music. It is a rare opportunity to experience Nepal through the atmosphere of a living celebration, not only through its landmarks.
Tihar unfolds through distinct traditions honoring animals, welcoming Laxmi, celebrating the self and strengthening family bonds. Each ritual reveals how gratitude, belief and everyday life are closely connected in Nepal.
Valley of Lights brings together cultural traditions, food, sacred heritage, craft and Nepal’s natural landscapes. The experience is designed to help guests understand how Tihar changes the rhythm, color and feeling of daily life.

Experience the atmosphere and meaning of Nepal’s Festival of Lights through thoughtfully planned cultural moments.

Discover a capital where sacred traditions, historic streets and daily life meet.

Spend time beside Phewa Lake, take in the mountain landscape and experience Pokhara through nature, food and local life.

Explore preserved courtyards, temples and artisan traditions in this historic city.

Rest between Kathmandu and Pokhara in two distinctive hotels selected for comfort, character and location.

Travel with 8 to 10 guests, creating more space for conversation, flexibility and connection.
Begin with one night in Kathmandu. Visit Boudhanath the following morning before flying to Pokhara. Return for Mha Puja and dinner, an early visit to the medieval market and your final two nights in the capital.
Spend three nights beside Phewa Lake, with sunrise and breakfast at Sarangkot, momo making, time on the lake and an uphill walk to the World Peace Stupa.
Visit Bhaktapur from Kathmandu to explore Durbar Square and take part in a pottery experience before returning to the capital for the final night.
